              Abstract

Given the high costs of chemical fertilizers, it is necessary to generate sustainable alternatives, such as biofertilizers. The objective was to evaluate corn (Zea mays L.) yield with the inoculation of Azospirillum brasilense (A), Bacillus subtilis (B) and Serindipita indica (S) and the different consortia in two doses of chemical fertilization, at 100% and 70% of the crop requirement. The trial was carried out under field conditions, in a factorial experiment, the microorganisms factor with eight levels and the chemical fertilization factor with two levels, with four replications. In the microorganisms factor, consortia with two microorganisms showed the greatest increase, followed by consortia with three microorganisms. Ear weight (BW) and grain weight (GW) were higher with the consortia of AB, SA and SAB, the average increases of the respective variables in relation to the control treatment were 16.3 and 51.8%. In the fertilization factor, with the 100% level, the PM and the weight of 200 grains were higher. There was interaction in green forage weight, dry forage weight with grain and stubble weight, with the consortia of SAB and fertilization at 100% the three variables were higher (p ≤ 0.05) than with SAB at 70%. With the consortia of AB or SA and 70% fertilization, the highest benefit/cost ratios (BCR) were obtained, the increases with respect to the control were 270 and 269%, respectively.
