Correction Policy

Once an article has been published, circumstances may arise that require the correction of information originally provided which may affect the validity of the findings but does not modify the conclusions of the article. Corrections may be requested by the authors themselves or by an interested third party.

Examples of cases that may warrant a correction include the following:

  • Errors in figures or tables.
  • Unclear writing in the text.
  • Missing information in the references.
  • Editing, layout, and/or production errors.
  • Errors in the statistical analysis presented, provided they do not alter the conclusions.
  • Errors in authors' affiliations, ORCID, or contact information.
  • Other cases not considered above.

Requests for correction must be submitted through a signed official letter sent by email to era@ujat.mx. Such requests will be evaluated by the Editor-in-Chief in collaboration with other associate editors who are specialists in the field. If the request is deemed appropriate, an erratum will be published and attached to the PDF version of the published article.
